Restaurarea unei textile religioase

  • Subiect: THE RESTORATION OF A RELIGIOUS TEXTILE The article is about a beautiful religious textile that was really damaged during the years. The object is not just beautiful but technically speaking, interesting. Beautiful vegetal motives were drawn with metal threads on a cotton support. Colored beads were added on the velvet motives. All this needed to be restored. The velvet motives need to be stiched, wax stain needed to be removed from the cotton support. The process was delicat, but in the end the obiect recovered its original form.
