Un patrimoniu de excepţie valorificat în expoziţia de istorie a mineritului

  • Subiect: THE HISTORY OF MINING FROM MARAMURES The patrimony of mining history contains approximate 1000 pieces which forms a few collections that was make possible the evolution of mining technical in North-West of Romania. The most important part of pîeces is the înstruments used by the mines în the process of extraction and remaking (see the shovels-from 18th century, the hammers and pickaxes from different types and dimensions). Brillîant is the collection of means of lighted on underground-the clay's, stone and iron rushlights and the lamps from 1890. The photos, stamps and maps completes the all image of mining area (Baia Mare, Baia Sprie, Cavnic, Băiţa, Borşa) beside the documentary information it's necessary to mentîon the presence of some parts from mining plant's (18th century) and some incomplete furnaces using to melt of gold and silver. The precîous îron was kept into treasure. The space were function this exhibition îs the old Mint which developed its activity since 15th century. This exhibition has a permanent character. lt's first exhibition of this type in the hîstory of Baia Mare and Maramures County.
