Artişti marginalizaţi de regimul comunist. Artă, valoare şi destin, manipulate în societatea totalitară. Istoria unei expoziţii retrospective nedorite. Alexandru Ţipoia 1914-1993

  • Subiect: Alexandru Ţipoia was one of the Romanian artists whose lives and careers were marked by the vicissitudes of the Communist regime. His work, developed during various stylist and thematic stages, was meant to become a counterpart of the spiritual void of the epoch society, a liberating process, compensating for the outer dulI existence. Unlike some of his fellow painters appreciated by the Communist regime, his creation was neglected, even obstructed, as, during this lifetime, he never managed to organize a retrospective exhibition. His son, artist George Tzipoia, considers it his duty to restore the memory of his father, by making his art known and thus rendering Alexandru Ţipoia his well-deserved place among the most important modern painters of Romania.
