Câteva consideraţii privind unele forme de unele bifaciale paleolitice

  • Subiect: Considerations about some forms of palaeolithic bifaciorus implements Describing two stone pieces of palaeolithic feature preserved in the Museum of History and Art of Zalău, the author affirms that there are somc finds in our country which might belong to the Szeletian culture. In the third and fourth decade of our century this sort of find were assigned to Solutrean culture. However discoveries made possible make a technologic and typological difference between Solutrean and Szeletian cultures. Just about 20 years ago C. S. Nicolăescu-Plopşor proved the existence of somc uncompact, scattered traces of Szeletian culture in Romania. In a way or other he included into the Szeletian complex "demonstrated" by him, all finds unearthed having where bifacial points. Recently thc experts don't agree with the existence of Szeletian culture in our country.
