O poveste legendară maramureşeană regăsită în periodicul sălăjean "Gazeta de Duminică"

  • Subiect: A legend from Maramures country recovered in "Gazeta de duminecă", journal from Sălaj county. The historical event that inspired "Comânacu Şpanului" or "folkloric sketch, collected from the generation in generation - as the redaction of the journal presents it - was The Battle from Borsa (Maramures county) from the 4th September 1717 which in fact was a very well organized ambush that ended Tatar robbery and plunder. Although the title "Comânacu Şpanului" leads us to a specific one episode from the narration of the legend - fact that corresponds to a sketch - the legend is multi episode because the accent falls not only on the episode of killing the Tatar - who survived the battle - on the purpose of getting his treasure - but especially on the episode of preparation, strategy and defeating the Tatars by the unarmed Borsens (name given to the inhabitants in the area), helped by the Morosens (name given to the inhabitants in the area) from other villages.
