Subiect: An Embroidered Skirt from the 1st Century The author presents an embroidered skirt belonging to the textile collection of the History Museum of Transylvania, dating from the beginning of the 18th century. The cloth and techniques used to produce it, the composition and ornamental gamut, the rendering of the ornamental components as well as the colours place this skirt among the realizations of the baroque applied arts.
