  • Subiect: In the context of the unified national state construction, the problem of a new ecclesiastic organization was considered. There were serious disputed about the way of structuring the church hierarchy in the in the Orthodox Church structure was realized through imposing of the Sagunian state by law, a state that was the object of transformation in the sense of centralization. The organization of the other cults was made according to the national state doctrine. The Orthodox Church, defined by the idea that it is "the religion of the majority of Romanians", has tried to create for itself a privileged position compared with that of the other cults and it has been in opposition to them. The relative fast termination of the juristic framework of cults organization was due to the political sensitivity regarding the religious problem. The religious factor has been considered specially in the nonreligious area because it has a political significance.
