  • Subiect: Tin Items from the Sălaj District (II) In the first part of the paper (published ln Acta Musei Porolissensis, 8, 1984., p. 76~776) the author presented briefly the trade, its characteristics and the items made in the workshops from Cluj. These items constitute the majority of these to be found in the Sălaj district. In the second part of the paper - the present one - the author deals with the tin items produced in other workshops from Transilvania: 8 items made in Sighişoara, four items made at Sibiu; one item made at Braşov, one item made at Baia Mare. All the tin items cups and plates are dated in the 16th-1Bth centuries. The author was not able to find out the full names of the craftsman, so he gives only their initials, as they appear on the items. In another paper the author will present the tin items from Sălaj district which were made abroad.
