Restaurarea şi conservarea unor piese metalice dintr-un mormânt de incineraţie sec. II e.n.

  • Subiect: RESTAURATION AND CONSERVATION OF METHAL PIECES IN AN INCINERATION TOMB 2nd CENTURY A.D. In the Autumn of 2003, following some salvation diggings by Michelin Company in Zalău, there were found severa! German incineration graves from the 2"d century A.D. The two pieces extracted from the graves were of this type. The pieces have been restored according to their initial state of degradation. There were used hexametaphosphate solutions, phosphoric acid and reiterated mechanical cleanings. In the end, the pieces were terminated with Paraloid B72 in toluene. The replications of the pieces will be exhibited in the hall of Michelin and the originals will enter the patrimony of History and Art County Museum — Zalău.
