Contribuţii la o bibliografie etnografică a Sălajului

  • Subiect: Contributions to the Marking of an Ethnographical Bibliography for the county of Sălaj As a researcher at the History and art museum of Zalău the author had the opportunity to gather an important ethnographical literature about the village and life of villages of the county. The reading of this literature helped the author to know the region better. From this activity results a list of works which could serve as a future operation basis. The list of works is not an exhaustive one, it is only a beginning of a research, which will be enriched during the author's future activity. The bulk of the ethnographical works from the list were published between 1920-1995, but there are also works published before 1920. In arranging the titles, the author made use of the system practiced by the authors of the historical bibliography of Romania. The list was divided into five sections, each comprising problems of the same kind. Among them one for toponomy, giving more information about the subject under study. Perhaps the specialist might consider that these sections were artificially created, but the limited number of works did not allow to give a more detailed division. The list of works does not comprise the folklore collections from the periodicals Şcoala Noastră and Gazeta de Dumineca, published in the interwar period. The index of authors at the end of the paper completes the function of this bibliography as an operational basis.
