Finalizarea grupei olăritului în Muzeul Civilizaţiei Populare Tradiţionale "Astra" (reconstrucţia gospodăriilor-atelier de olar din Găleşoaia, jud. Gorj)

Subiect: The finishing up of the pottery sector in the open air museum (potter's homestead and workshop, Găleşoaia Village, Gorj County) The paper presents two potters' homestead, the component parts- houses, stables, shed, maize barn, hayloft and traditional gate-that belong to two different owners and times. They also illustrate the development of a potter's family and the homesteads are of great diversity- types of houses, kilns, annexes, interiors. The homesteads and workshops were transferred to the open air museum in Dumbrava Sibiului in 2002 and they are coming from Găleşoaia village, Gorj County. ln former times this village was a famous pottery center, today it is a mining exploitation. The homesteads and the workshops are happily completing the sector of monuments illustrating pottery. They were transferred to museums with a well established purpose, namely to finish up this sector.
