Trei documente inedite din deceniul cinci al secolului al XIX-lea, privitoare la fostul sat Căcărezeni (astări Cotmeana, Comuna Stolnici)

  • Subiect: Three Inedit Documents from the Fifth Decade OF THE 19th Century Regarding the Ex-Village Căcărezeni (Today Cotmeana, Stolnici Parish) From an administrative viewpoint, the village Căcărezeni belonged, from the founding of the historical counties to 1845, to Teleorman County. From 1846 to 1950 it belonged to Argeş County, then to the regions Piteşti and Argeş. From 1968, when the Argeş County was founded it is part of the parish Stolnici; then its name changed from Căcărezeni to Cotmeana. The three documents (deeds from 16 June 1841, 13 May 1847, and 19 March 1850) added to the present paper, regard a freeholder from Căcărezeni, Badea Chiriţoiu, who bought some plots of land, which represented the best investment of that times. Beside the fact that some unknown aspects from the life of a freeholder (a social and fiscal category not enough studied in the past) are revealed, the documents, which are a fit complement of the census from 1838, are also important for two complementary sciences to history, i.e. the sigillography and the toponymy.
