Relaţiile publice şi mass-media, întro-o curbă ascendentă spre un trend european

  • Subiect: There is no more a novelty that the good functioning of the societies of our days, depends on the quality of the communication. This study deals with the domain of a profession that tries, together with the journalists, to insure and contribute to a rapid and correct circuit of information and to improve the social communication. The domain we are talking about is public relations. The institutions do need the help of mass - media because through mass - media, through their huge capacity of resonance, the institutions can disseminate the messages they consider important and that might arouse the public's interest. The connection between the institutions and mass - media is done by press office. The institution's image has a heritage value and is essential for developing the institution's credibility. Building up the image may be accomplished by applying a certain policy that has to do with the managerial style, on one hand and the activity of the employers, on the other. ln practice this policy has to do with certain activities of public relations that have to build, change and maintain the image of our institution.
