  • Subiect: The scientific expertise of cultural legacy property has involved a complex system of methods and techniques of investigation, an important role and essentials in this case: microscopic examinations, micro-chemical and burning tests, stratigraphies, specific dying, micrometric measurements, digital micro-photos. Samples of microscopic size, each generally consisting of layers having different colours, varnish have been selected with great attention from the different areas of the object, so that they could cover the scoop of pigments used for each icon.
