  • Subiect: Ancestors signs: funerary rituals and their transmission in the Cucuteni society The reconstitution by experiment of the „clecoration” of the Eneolithic anthropomorphous caly statuttes reveals pattern regularities which are analogous with the designs resulting from the plaiting and wrapping processes. Because many ethnological and archaea ethnological data about the funerary plaiting and wrapping of the deceased argue in favor of a funerary symbolism of the statuettes, they can he perceived as the image of the „ancestors”.
