  • Subiect: Ion I. C. Brătianu‘s Attitude Regarding the (Southern)-Dobrogea Issue (January 1914 - August 1916) In January 1914, the National Liberal Party (P.N.L.) began to govern Romania. It was led by Ion I. C. (Ionel Brătianu), who thus became again the president of the Ministers Council. The Brătianu government managed very well the issue regarding the Cadrilater (Southern Dobrogea, gained from Bulgaria, in the summer of 1913). The govern and its leader proved to be firm & flexible, especially in the period August 1914-September 1915, in order to gain some political & diplomatic & territorial advantages regarding other disputed issues & regions such as the Western Banat, that Serbia wanted, too.
