  • Subiect: The article presents the events happened between 1921-1995, which impeded - by subjective and objective reasons - upon the raising of a monument in Bucharest, dedicated to the infantry. There were difficulties in choosing the sculptor, in placing the monument, in finding the funds. The author underlines the territory strive of those who still/ insist on the elevation of such a monument.
