Un complex arheologic din epoca mijlocie a bronzului descoperit la Halmeu

  • Subiect: The paper presents archeological finds discovered during a rescue excavation in the area of the custom office Halmeu, county of Satu Mare. The finds belonged to a dwelling, and they can be dated in middle Bronze age. The pottery and a bronze lock ring offer the basis of the dating. The cultural attribution of the finds, however, remains unclear and difficult to establish. The main reason of this situation is that similar finds from the Someş valley and even from the larger Upper Tisa region area are attributed to the second phase of the Otomani culture or to the first phase of the Suciu de Sus culture.
