  • Subiect: In Oas, in the 17th and 18th centuries, a fairly large number of nobles had properties. First of all, it must be emphasized that no settlement here had a single owner. The land and the serfs of a single settlement were divided among several owners. This is generally the case throughout Central and Eastern Europe during this period. The villages with only one master remained few, as a result of the fragmentation of the areas of the noble estates through inheritances. Thus, it came to a village to have up to a few dozen owners.
