Bucovina la intersecţia intereselor naţionale şi geopolitice la sfârşitul Primului Război Mondial

  • Subiect: Bukovina at the Crossroads of National and Geopolitical Interests at the end of the World War I. Article deals with the Bukovina problem during World War I. The authors investigate the influence of ethnic, revolutionary and geopolitical factors on historical fate of the region on the basis of documents and memoires. The authors pay special attention to the theoretical statement of the nations' self-determination right viewed from the point of view of the famous politicians, W. Wilson, D. Lloyd George, V. Lenin in particular. Article provides analysis of the problem of self-determination of Romanians and Ukrainians in Bukovina in autumn of 1918, as well as of the other factors which influenced the ethnic territorial separation in terms of the Austro-Hungarian empire collapse.
