  • Subiect: About the Outskirts - Parish Relationship According to Some Bucharestan Mid 19th Century Documents Scientists have lately been investigating the historical outskirts of Bucharest - descriptive, monographic, phenomenological approaches and studies were issued in the domain, as a result of the increasing interest in understanding the genesis and functioning of the urban communities in the Romanian Capital. The authoress points out a few aspects arisen from the ties between the outskirts as an urban entity and the parish, as a form of ecclesiastical organization - starting from four documents mirroring the confessional-administrative life of the Batistea parish.
