  • Subiect: Contributions of the Romanians from Abroad at the Fulfilment of the National Ideal in the Autumn of 1918 The study points out Contributions of the Romanians who were in foreign countries during the autumn of 1918 to the fulfillment of the Romanian natural unity. The author presents the way in which the legions of volunteers were formed in Italy, France and Czechoslovakia. He examines the relationship between the Romanians who were in the country and these from abroad, the correlation of their efforts for the realization of national Unity. The study also examines the part played by sons of the region of Sălaj in this rational epos, reminding of Gheorghe Pop de Băseşti, Iuliu Maniu, Victor Deleu, Gheorghe Câmpeanu, Leontin Ghergairiu. The patriotic feature of the activity of the Romanians from abroad in the field of organization and propaganda is also pointed out. The study ends with the analysis of the importance and the consequences of their labor as well as of the solidarity of the international public opinion of the foreign political circles.
