Materiale arheologice preistorice din colecţia Şcolii Gegerale Nr. 1 din Şimleu Silvaniei

  • Subiect: Prehistoric Archaeological Materials from the Collection of the School N. 1 Şimleu-silvaniei This study points out the prehistoric archaeological materials that can be found in the collection of this school. There are two categories of materials: ceramics and earth tools, antler tools and stone tools. The ceramics belong to the late Neolithic. the intermediate period to the bronze age (Coţofeni culture, 2nd stage) and it also belongs to the bronze age (Wietenbrg culture 2nd and 3rd stage). Stone tools are represented by two chisels and four hatchets, in antler with an obsidian core. From a typological viewpoint the tools can be dated from the intermediate period till the bronze age.
