  • Subiect: Answers of the Intellectuals from Sălaj to the Linguistic Questionnaires The first part of the paper offers some explanations regarding the importance of the dialectal inquiries and presents the questionnaires of the Museum of Romanian Language. The second part attempts to show the contribution of the intellectuals from Sălaj to the Hasdeu questionnaire and to those of the Museum. To emphasize the importance of the answers, a series of examples from the lexical field, illustrated with folklore quotations, is enclosed.
