Doar un meniu? (glume gastronomice)

  • Subiect: The authoress records a set of menus preserved in the Dimitrie Butculescu collection. (Dimitrie Butculescu was a conservative politician). The meals or drinks were named after events or persons to whom the banquet was dedicated. Some of the names were invented by Butculescu himself. Apparently insignificant, the menu titles testify upon behaviors and mentalities of the XIX century society in Bucharest.
