Observaţii de topografie arheologică la Şimleu Silvaniei. Aşezarea civilă dacică

  • Subiect: Observation upon Topography Archeological Topography from Simleul Silvaniei. Dacian Civil Settlements Being well - known in the historical literature, because of the many discoveries of currency treasures and silver jewelry from the late Latene epoch, Şimleu Silvaniei represented a very favorable microclimate to the human living in any historical periods. The present research wanted to identify, through archeological investigations on surface, the vestiges of the Dacia’s civil settlements which were recently recognized as the antic "Dacidava" mentioned by Ptolemeu. The discoveries were concentrated. on the hill "Cetate" and at the foot of the hills and down on the hills, there are dated for the end of the 2nd century B.C. - 1st century A.D.
