„Povăţuitorul tinerimei” de la Buda din 1826 şi autorul lui

  • Subiect: The Adviser of the Young People… Of Buda from 1826 and its Author In 1826 came out at Buda "The Adviser of the Youth" under the signature of Gheorghe Lazar, the head chief of the Romanian schools from Bucharest, a school book for the needs of Romanian youth, which contains notations of grammar, history, geography, moral studies. No one contested Gheorghe Lazar's paternity on his work until 1865. In 1865 I. Heliade Radulescu, Lazar's former student, doubted on Lazar's paternity of that work, without arguing it, in a letter to G. Bariţiu, published in "Familia" from Pesta, during the same year. Heliade Radulescu considered it a speculation of a printer man, named Zaharia Cracalechi in order to sell better the book Onisifor Ghibu took over that idea in 1916 and brought out many arguments. Most of the literary historians have taken over that idea from Onisifor Ghibu, without looking new arguments. Nicolae Iorga proclaimed for sure that couldn’t be denied Gheorghe Lazar's paternity over this book. In my manuscrise collection and precious books there is a copy of The Adviser of the Youth, from 1926 which has to the odder side of bottom paper a I. Gorjan's signing, the writer and 1848 revolutionary 1848, former schoolboy of Lazar at Sf. Sava. In conclusion, Gheorghe Lazar is the author of this book.
