  • Subiect: The Scientific Archives of C.N.M. Astra reflects the complexity of the activity in our institution. Now, it contains 6000 U.A. They are subject of a scientific process and are divided into 8 main grups and several secondary ones. This responds to the need of an easy and complete information. The first group, A, with 4 subdivisions, represents the history of the museum. lt begin with the period of "The Astra Museum", the first Romanian Museum (the A.I. subgroup). Acts and Documents reflect step-by-step the evolution of the museum up to the present „ASTRA" National Museum Complex Sibiu (the A.li. and A.III. subgroups). The last subgroups, A.IV.a and b, contain plans and minutes, data about the heritage and the people who worked here. The aim of the Archives is to be both a thesaurus and a schoul for the young ethnologists, that's why studyng it becomes a necessity.
