Industria casnică textilă - reprezentată în Muzeul în Aer Liber prin gospodăriile din Lisa (judeţul Braşov) şi Tilişca (judeţul Sibiu)

  • Subiect: Home textile industry illustrated in the outdoor museum by the homesteads from Lisa (Braşov County) and Tilişca (Sibiu County) The traditional handicrafts of processing wool and hemp are illustrated in a new, modern manner by two very important monuments from different ethnographical areas: Ţara Oltului and Mărginimea Sibiului. The homestead illustrating the processing of hemp from Lisa village (Braşov county) from The Open Air Museum is situated in the thematic sector of processing and proceedings of leather and animals fibers for clothes and household objects, thus completing the range of traditional handicrafts from aur museal patrimony. The processing of hemp is a traditional and well known handicraft at Ţara Oltului, is very representative, becoming a scientific instrument in the textiles areas of research. Model of the ancient architecture of Mărginimea Sibiului, the homestead illustrating the processing of wool from Tilişca village (Sibiu county) strongly impress through the abundance of textiles which illustrates the talent and hardworking women in wool processing underlying again the main occupation of the village - shepherding. Both Homesteads from Lisa and Tilişca fits in the cultural act of the museum, so much through theirs architecture, object of inventory of a traditional handicraft and through hosting the textiles craftsmen, becoming a trame of the scene where the traditional craftsmen challenge the visitors to be aware of the traditional Romanian act of civilization.
