  • Subiect: Aspects of the Revolutionary and Democratic Movement of the Youth in Sălaj County (1890-1949) The present paper tries to show some aspects of the revolutionary and democratic movement of the youth in Sălaj district between the late 19th century and 1949. The latter date represents the year of the unification of the youth rnovement in the Union of the Comunist Youth (Uniunea Tineretului Muncitor Comunist). The first forms of youth organisation are discussed, accent belng laid upon the participation of the youth in the working class movement and in the socialist reconstruction after 1945. Documentation in drawn from the State Archives of the district and from the contemporary newspapers.
