Dezvoltarea industriei judeţului Sălaj în perioada 1965-1986

  • Subiect: The Development of the Industry in the Sălaj County between 1965-1986 The district Sălaj witnessed between 1965-1986 a fast development, especially on industrial field. Applying consequently our party's policy of well balanced development of all the regions in our country, after 1968 the district Sălaj got large investments, concretized in modern and powerful industrial units. In the towns: Zalău, Şimleu Silvaniei, Cehu Silvaniei and Jibou new industrial platforms grew up. Among these the most important factories are: The Factory of Enamelled Electric Conductors, The Factory of Industrial Fittings of Iron and Steel, The Factory of Pipes and The Factory of Types in Zalău; The Factory of Insulating Materials in Şimleu Silvaniei; The Factory of Store-Clothes and The Flax Processing Factory in Jibou; The Furniture Factory and The Knitt-Wear Factory in Cehu Silvaniei. The development rate of Sălaj's industry - 16,6% in a year - was the highest rate in the whole country and the industrial production increased between 1965-1986 about twenty times. The industrial production achieved in 1985 in the district Sălaj was more than 11,3 milliard lei, out of which 50% is represented by products of the electro-technic, the machine building and the chemical industry. This work presents the development of each branch separately emphasizing the quantitative and the qualitative changings that occurred in Sălaj district's industry. It is presented in each branch the variety of products obtained and also their destination. Many products of Sălaj's industry are destined to essential domains as: modern energetics, electronics, aeronautic industry etc. A part of these products is exported, in more than 30 countries from Europe, Asia, Africa and North America.
