Câteva aspecte din activitatea aviaţiei germane după 23 august 1944

  • Subiect: Some Aspects of the Activity of The German Air Forces After 23 August 1944 The World War II was the moment of the incredible development of the air forces for all the great military powers. Luftwaffe benefited of a modern, even revolutionary, technique, but its resources were too small for the missions it needed to execute. The capturing of the marshal Ion Antonescu and the raising of the Romanian army against Germany were fatal for the entire German Air Force from all over Europe. The attacks were not because of the lack of assault airplanes, as long as the hunting airplanes were designed for quick fight and consequently their structure was not fit for the terrestrial fighting. Although the German industry was oriented toward the production of the bombing airplanes more than for those for hunting and assault, it was not able to produce enough in order to win.
