Subiect: Considerations concerning Noua culture in Transylvania
Taking into consideration that lately the discoveries type Noua have increased in Transylvania, or the old ones"' have been processed, the outlook upon this culture has changed. The discoveries from Buza (Cluj district), Sântioana (Mureş district), Cluj - strada Banatului, Floreşti (Cluj district), Iernut (Mureş district) prove that Noua elements didn-t overlap with Wietenberg culture, - as one have thought - but witra a Wietenberg - Otomani synthesis. This is proved by the fact that there are discoveries belonging to this synthesis, without Noua elements, but în some settlements. - over 180 - (for instance the over- lopped dwelling places from Buza), these coexist with Noua type elements. At the same time, the settlements have a unitary character on the whole Noua area, both at West and East and South of Carpathians.
