Aspecte legate de arhitectura bisericii "Cuvioasa Paraschiva" din Mesentea (judeţul Alba)

  • Subiect: ARCHITECTURAL ASTECTS OF "CUVIOASA PARASCHIVA" CHURCH FROM MESENTEA (ALBA COUNTY) The historic monument "Cuvioasa Paraschiva" church from Mesentea, Alba county, was build in 1778, on a plateau, near the graveyard. The church received a new face in 1928. The subsequent made executions unlawful changed the building face. Beside all changes made to the walls, the mural painting from narthex has been "clean" so that the inscriptions and all the others painted details made in "al secco"technique were vanished. To provide the durability of the building structure and the structural intervention which were made for consolidation, is necessary to provide a higher quality of interventions, using appropriate materials and good constructions technologies.
