Alpha diversity for Trichoptera species from the superior catchment area of Bistriţa River

  • TITLU în română: Diversitatea alfa pentru speciile de Trichoptera din bazinul hidrografic superior al râului Bistriţa
  • Subiect: „Taxonomical and ecological aspects on trichoptera can be found in L. Botoşăneanu studies who made a ”schetch of classification of Retezatului and Banat Mountains water bodies based on sinecological data” in 10 categories (Botoşăneanu, 1959), after the previous models of Lepneva and Martynov. L. Botoşăneanu brought together and published numerous data concerning especially stigobiont fauna. Spring and creek fauna also was investigated in a study in Câmpia Română (Motaş et al, 1962). A recent study on biodiversity of underground environments mentioned spring, rheofilic and limnophilous species (Negrea et al, 2004). Diversity α means diversity of species in biocenosis as the result of specialisation on the niches or the environment offer. It can be expressed as species richness or any relation as heterogeneity, equitability or sequential analysis. Diversity β is the modification of species compositions along a gradient. Diversity γ is total diversity of the populations of some biotopes or ecosystems (Gomoiu & Skolka, 2001).”
