  • Subiect: A History of the Children 's Hospital in Bucharest The author presents several stages in the development of the hospital founded according to the project of physicist Iuliu C.Baras, during the ruling of Alexandru Dimitrie Ghica (1856-1858). The paper presents different locations of the hospital, recording the efforts undertaken by the responsible authorities to endow, modernize and improve the medical services of the hospital.
