Redescoperim cetatea Soroca / Rediscovering the Soroca citadel

  • Subiect: The study presents the archaeological diggings and the researches undertaken since 2012 at the stone citadel of Soroca, researches which have brought new information regarding the construction and the evolution throughout centuries of the medieval fortification situated on the right bank of the Dniester River. Prior to the stone citadel erected during the reign of Stephen the Great and Bogdan III, there existed a wooden and earth fortification.
