Muşcel had three plăşi: Argeşelu, Podgoria, Râuri & two: Dâmboviţa şi Nucşoara13. In 1881, when Romania became a kingdom, the Argeş county had seven plăşi (Piteşti, Olt, Topolog, Loviştea, Argeş, Gălăşeşti, and Cotmeana).
