Subiect: Great Boyars - in the Shadows of Founders (the 16th - the 18th Centuries) The article presents the specific themes regarding Walachia: the materialization of the foundation right (Byzantine origins adapted to our medieval realities), thus being in close relationship (at an institutional level, too), not only to the lordship, but also to the great boyars & the Orthodox clergy, and sometimes to other social classes (merchants, members of guilds etc.). In short, it is about the effort of building a construction or an architectural ensemble in our past.
