  • Subiect: Flămânda Church Aka ”The Church of the Bride”from Câmpulung, a Christian Orthodox Monument Flămânda Church, set in the east of Câmpulung, on the plateau of Flămânda Hill that also gives its name, is very old, like all our Christian orthodox monuments. Its fame is not due to its age but to an unfortunate event that happened eight decades ago when a young bride, Margareta Ştefănescu, the only daughter of a rich family from Câmpulung was deadly injured in the very day of her wedding. The church is considered an architectural monument; its position on Flămânda Hill represents a sight for those who want to know the history & the beauty of these places, as well as for the believers.
