Contribuţia lui Antim Ivireanul la dezvoltarea culturii râmnicene

  • Subiect: Antim Ivireanul's Contribution to the Development of Ramnic Culture One of the most complex personalities that we had our Orthodox Church throughout it's history, was the Metropolitan of Romanian bishop of Râmnic for almost three years (1705-1708), Holy Hierarch Martyr Antim Ivireanul. Antim Ivireanul managed to do his duty abundantly, managing to be a mentor for orthodoxy in a ward where there were suspicions die with Ilarion's ouster. In the town of Râmnicu Vâlcea, Antim set up a printing press using for this much of the materials, tools and letter of the Snagov Monastery, as especially apparent in comparison to the latter, which was used to print books. In the nearly three years, Antim printed ten books, some very bulky and technical conditions of the best. During this stay of Râmnic, Antim Ivireanul his achievements were remarkable. Metropolitan Antim has the contribution to be in the Romanian Orthodox Church the founder of the religious oratory.
