  • Subiect: Belligerent Forces from the Romanian Front in Moldova During July 1917 During the last months of 1916 and the first half of 1917, a series of more or less secret meetings and negotiations were held between the great powers of the two belligerent military blocks on the European fronts (Entente and Central Powers) reaching a peace agreement. For this purpose, the following military forces were disposed on their own battlefields: At the beginning of July 1917, on the Romanian front in Moldova, for the beginning of the great military confrontations, both belligerent camps deployed important military forces. To this end, the following military forces were disposed in their own battlefields: 5 Russian-Romanian armies (3 Russian armies and 2 Romanian armies); 4 Armies of the Central Powers (2 Austro Hungarian armies, 1 German army, 1 Bulgarian army and 2 Turkish armies).
