Reforma şi românii în istoriografia maghiară interbelică

  • Subiect: After the annexation of Transylvania to the kingdom of Romania, the Hungarian historiography, especially the Transylvanian one, is concerned in the new, cultural and political context, with a subject that has been treated superficially since the Enlightenment, for example in synthesis works regarding the history of reformed church. The integration of Hungarians in the new state, where the majority culture was of Romanian expression, has been a provocation for the Hungarian historiography interested to emphasize the special contribution of the religious reformation to the formation of language and Romanian spirituality. All the statements and conclusions of Hungarian historians supported the idea of beneficial influence of Reformation in the cultural and spiritual prosperity of Transylvanian Romanians.
