  • Subiect: In order to present the primary source of information for those who took interest in the theme and its content, the author publishes the manuscript written by Ioan Baciu, „The chronicle of the Greek-catholic parish of Şoimuş”. The conclusion shows that the notes written by the priest from ancient times/ab urbe condita, until the day of the departure from the town where he was born and where he had the parish, present the talent of chronicler of Ioan Baciu. In addition the motivation for publishing this manuscript is so that the model of presentation of the actions of the past to determine a concentrated action of identification for as many places in the county of Bistriţa-Năsăud that should be revaluated by publishing.
