Asupra identificării geţilor, dacilor şi Daciei din operele autorilor bizantini din secolele X-XV

  • Subiect: A series of Byzantine authors from the 10th to 15th centuries, chroniclers, writers and poets, use the term Dacian for designating the North-Danube Romanians, particularly the ones from the South-Carpathians and the term Peonodaci for designating the Romanians from Transylvania and Banat. In some cases, they designate with the term Dacians the Pechenegs and Hungarians. The term Getae is used by the 10th to 15th centuries Byzantine chroniclers and writers for designating first and foremost the Romanians between the Carpathians and Danube, in some cases the Pechenegs and very rarely the Uzi or the Hungarians.
