Organizarea şi amenajarea spaţiului în locuinţele aşezării civile de la Grădiştea de Munte

  • Subiect: Dacian habitat is a subject not enough studied yet. This paper tries to give new perspectives on private space in Grădiştea de Munte. Houses are on the ground and can be classified as follows quadrilateral with one room or more, circular or polygonal. The useful space varies between 5 and 70 square metres. The space organization of more room houses was rather difficult. Inside the house there are: fireplace (not in the centre), a place for beds, tables, shelves and even benches. Near the walls there were boxes and great vessels for food supplies. Outside houses one could find: bars, work-shops, food supplies pits or folds. A distinctive place is the house where the vessel having the inscription (DECEBALVS PER SCORILO) was found. Looking inside it seems to be a private house, but taking into consideration its position it looks rather a public building due to its dimensions and the vessel discovered inside.
