Consideraţii asupra spiritualităţii bronzului timpuriu

  • Subiect: A Bronze Age individual's vision upon life is transmitted through the symbols used by him. Scientists got an almost complete picture of the Bronze Age cultic life analysing these symbols and corroborating the results to information on the funeral rituals. Analysing the Nagyrev culture and particularly the vase-collection we can notice certain characteristics the motifs appear pre-eminently in the decoration of a certain category of vase. They share some analogical signs with magical sense from the Neolithic period. These decorations contain narrative scenes doubled sometimes on the pots. The doubled scenes and the 180 degrees rotated positioning of the scenes cannot be explained yet. Under these circumstances, we can conclude only on general observation. Hopefully the new researches from the Carpathian basin will provide enough information that we can develop into a largest picture on the Bronze Age's human community spirit.
