Studenţi români la Politehnica din Budapesta (1871-1919)

  • Subiect: The Polytechnic from Budapest represented in the period of the Austrian-Hungarian dualism the only institution of this kind on the territory of the historical Hungary (Transleithania). In the period 1872-1919, there studied 278 Romanian students. Distribution on faculties: a number of 135 studied general engineering, 120 mechanical engineering; 14 chemical engineering and 29 constructions (architecture). Among those who studied at the Polytechnic from Budapest, there are also some famous personalities of the Romanian science and technique, as Traian Vuia, Aurel Vlaicu and Augustin Maior.
