Subiect: This approach tries so catch some of the multiple aspects of marriage and family life in Buciumi, Sângiorgiu and Bogdana villages in the second half of the nineteenth century, according to the data given by civil records of the three parishes. Thus are revealed in a comparative view considerations about marriages, how many people got married, when, births data, social status of the couples, exogamic marriages and so on. The period of time the author had in mind is during 1863-1900. Ali the data offer an image about the way marriage is viewed during that time.
