Subiect: The paper deals with the demographic history research and it is based on studying the family in Aşchileul Mare, a village in the Northern part of Cluj County, near Sălaj County. We tried to take into consideration a few aspects concerning family evolution in this village during the second half of the nineteenth century. For this we used the method initiated by L. Henry and M. Fleury, meaning to take into account the parish registers of marriage.
